NSSGA Student Chapter membership has many benefits! Joining (or starting) a student chapter is an essential step in your career in the aggregates industry.

Participation in a student chapter exposes you to numerous networking opportunities. Meet aggregates industry professionals through chapter field trips and guest speakers and mingle with industry leaders at NSSGA events.

Student members can take advantage of discounts on events, publications and products, including student registration rates for NSSGA’s Annual Convention, AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo, and CONEXPO-CON/AGG, and a discounted student price of $25 on the popular Aggregates Handbook, Second Edition.

Receive complimentary student members-only access to NSSGA’s webinar series and webinar archive, a student jobs board; inclusion in NSSGA’s member communications and a complimentary chapter subscription to Stone, Sand & Gravel REVIEW magazine.

To facilitate student chapter activities and maximize student participation, NSSGA will offer the following financial assistance to active student chapters:

• Student Chapter Setup Assistance - Once a student chapter’s application is accepted, the chapter will receive $500 to be used for its initial setup costs, including supplies, marketing and promotions.
• Registration Fee Assistance - Each active student chapter will receive up to five complimentary registrations to NSSGA’s Annual Convention and AGG1 Academy & Expo (or CONEXPO-CON/AGG every third year).
• Travel Assistance - NSSGA will provide travel assistance for students for travel to and from NSSGA events. Students will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.50 per mile per student. Total reimbursement is capped at $1,000 per chapter per academic year.
