The meeting, held April 28 – May 1, attracted 338 participants from across the country. This is the aggregates industry’s premier opportunity for professionals under the age of 40 to learn more about the industry, build leadership skills and grow a strong network.

ON THE NATIONAL STONE, SAND & GRAVEL ASSOCIATION (NSSGA): Do you remember the first time you went [to Capitol Hill with NSSGA]? I remember the first time I went. I was scared to death. I was like: ‘What am I going to tell these congressmen and all these people?’ Over time, the staff at NSSGA got us comfortable doing these things. All the people we take to the Hill, they end up growing in their potential, being more confident and better spoken.
Industry groups and environmentalists are making their closing pitches to the Biden administration on how they would like to see officials overhaul EPA’s landmark air emissions reporting plan that seeks to require thousands of new facilities to report air toxics releases for the first time, as the agency promises “important changes” to the upcoming final version.
