World of Asphalt and AGG1 Celebrate Successful First Show in St. Louis

St. Louis, MO (March 27, 2025) – The World of Asphalt Show & Conference and AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo hosted its first-ever St. Louis show with resounding success. From March 25-27, more than 11,500 industry professionals gathered at the America’s Center Convention Complex to explore the latest innovations, network with peers, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Gateway City. 59% of total attendees were under the age of 45, reflecting the positive future of the industry.

Ted Baker, II Named New NSSGA Board Chair

ST. LOUIS – Ted Baker, II, CEO of Blue Water Industries, was named the 2025 Board Chair of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA). Outgoing Board Chair Jim Nickolas, Martin Marietta, handed off the gavel during a ceremony at the 2025 NSSGA Annual Convention.

ST. LOUIS – More than 600 aggregates industry leaders have convened in St. Louis for the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (NSSGA) 2025 Annual Convention. This year’s meeting comes as the association marks its 25th anniversary.

ST. LOUIS – On the opening night of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) 2025 Annual Convention, the Manufacturing & Services (M&S) Division announced the 2025 Executive Committee Chair at their annual dinner. Outgoing Chair Mark Krause of McLanahan/Eagle Iron Works handed off the gavel to Craig Lamarque of Wirtgen America, a John Deere Company. Kristen Randall of Superior Industries was named Vice Chair. 

 

NSSGA Celebrates 25th Anniversary

ALEXANDRIA, VA — This year marks the 25th anniversary of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association's (NSSGA) founding. Since its inception, NSSGA has served as the leading voice and advocate for the aggregates industry in Washington, D.C. It now represents over 500 aggregates and industrial sand producers and manufacturers and services members.

 

NSSGA Welcomes Sean Duffy as Transportation Secretary

ALEXANDRIA, VA - The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association's Interim CEO Michele Stanley issued the following statement welcoming Sean Duffy, as the Secretary of Transportation. Earlier today, the full Senate voted to confirm his nomination in a 77-22 vote. NSSGA previously shared this letter of support with the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee before their vote.
