NASHVILLE – On the opening night of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) 2024 Annual Convention, the Manufacturing & Services (M&S) Division announced their 2024 Executive Committee Chair at their annual dinner. Outgoing Chair Charlie Johnson of DSC Dredge LLC handed off the gavel to Mark Krause of McLanahan Corporation. Tom Suess of Komatsu was named Vice Chair. 

“I am honored to be taking on this role and thankful to Charlie and the past M&S Chairs for their leadership,” said Mark Krause. “I look forward to working with NSSGA staff and M&S members to continue our service to the association and foster beneficial relationships across the industry.”

Mark joined McLanahan Corporation in 2014 and has spent over 40 years learning from the great people of the aggregates industry. Over the years, Mark has held various roles at the producer level, dealer level and for large and small manufacturers. His passion for the industry has led him to be an educator, mentor and voice for anyone he has come across in his work. 

This long-standing tradition, held at the NSSGA M&S members’ dinner, was attended by the M&S Board, Executive Committee members and past Chairs. Krause will formally be voted into the NSSGA Leadership during the Annual Membership and Board of Directors Meeting on Tuesday, March 26.
